Consolidated Fire Safety & Security Facility

The project consists of vehicle staging bays and administration areas including emergency response call center, file, supply, records and evidence storage, detention, interview and processing area. The building structure is insulated architectural/structural pre-cast concrete panels with structural steel, joist and deck. Special foundations due to expansive soil conditions. Building systems include complete high efficiency mechanical systems and vehicle exhaust; fire protection, including wet-pipe and clean agent suppression systems and fire alarm systems; access flooring; and building access and security systems. Vehicle bays have radiant heating systems in the cast-in-place slabs. Site development includes underground utilities and connections; storm drainage and lift station; fiber optics; site lighting; lightning protection; asphalt and heavy duty concrete paving; vehicle storage; site concrete walks, curb and gutters; landscaping and signage. Project also includes a hazardous material storage facility and a standby generator. The facility is ADA/ABA compliant. The project received exceptional ratings, meeting all contract requirements and expectations of the end user. The project was LEED certified in 2016.
