Building 469 Renovation

Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma

The Renovations and repairs to Building 469 Southeast Bay at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma included modifications for the new “Positive Inventory Control” (PIC) system. The 40,000 SF renovation included upgrades to the existing HVAC, plumbing, power, lighting, and communications systems. It also included modifications to the fire protection system, a new fire alarm system, a new vindicator system, new security systems, structural systems, walls, doors and hardware, roofing and a loading ramp.

The facility is designed and constructed to meet Joint Air Force Army Navy (JAFAN) security standards. HHI provided the management for the project, cast-in-place concrete loading ramp, and steel-structure canopy on the exterior of the building.
